Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Naomi Railey Chitty of New Bern, North Carolina, born in Newsoms, Virginia, who passed away at the age of 88, on June 2, 2024. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Richard and Caroline Worrell Railey; her husband Malcolm Reid Chitty Sr.; her grandsons, Aubrey and Railey Pitts; and her sister Rosalyn Railey Johnson.

She is survived by: her children, Catherine Chitty Pike (Joseph) of New Bern, Susan Chitty Pitts (Douglas) of Glen Alpine and Malcolm Reid Chitty Jr. (Lisa) of New Bern; her grandchildren, Lauren Chitty Smith (Garrett), Malcolm Reid Chitty III, Jane Street Simmons and Aaron Aubrey Pitts; and her great grandchild Evelyn Jane Ratledge. She is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
