She was predeceased by: her husband James H. Lytle, Sr.; her granddaughter Dee Ann Lytle; and her sister Georgia Ledbetter Furniss. She is survived by: her children, James H. Lytle, Jr. (Lois) of New Bern, Sam Lytle (Becky) of Southport and Pamela Lytle Shirley (Don) of Raleigh; her grandchildren, Elliott Lytle (Jennifer), Elizabeth Shirley Bradshaw (Justin) and Sarah Shirley Rivera (Abraham); and her great grandchildren, River Renée Lytle, James Lachlan Lytle and Levi Matteo Rivera.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Bald Mountain Baptist Church, 559 Shumont Rd., Black Mountain, NC 28711.
