He is survived by: his wife Tori Ellis; his son Alexander Ellis; his brother Ervin Ellis Sr. of Pell City, AL; his nephew Ervin Ellis Jr. of Millbrook, AL; his niece Eviana Ellis of Talladega, AL; and his brother Derek Collins of Statesboro, GA.. He is also survived by aunts and cousins.

In lieu of flowers the family suggest a donation may be made in Meikos' honor to the ALS Association, 1300 Wilson Blvd. Suite 600, Arlington, VA 22209.
