It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mattie Louise Patterson (New Bern, North Carolina), who passed away on October 14, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her children, Doris (Frank), William (Esther) and Allen (Joyce); her grandchildren, Ben Tillman (Allison), Will, Grant (Madison), Anne, Faith, Jennifer and David Patterson; and her great grandchildren, Lily and Cora Tillman. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
