It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Golden (New Bern, North Carolina), born in Jackson, South Carolina, who passed away on January 17, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifton H. Gilbert and Ada Lee Gilbert; her sons, Clifton Franklin "Franky" Golden and Billy "Frank" Golden, Jr.; and her close friend James E. Carpenter.

She is survived by: her daughter Tiffiney Golden Jackson (Billy); her brother James H. Gilbert (Pat); and her grandchildren, Charlee Miller, Robbie Miller, Brandi Golden, Grant Golden and Carla Golden. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
