Mary Elizabeth Green Obituary

We are sad to announce that on February 10, 2024, at the age of 100, Mary Elizabeth Green of New Bern, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John David Monette and Nancy Elizabeth Conway Monette; her husband Harlice Green; her son Richard Green; and her sons-in-law, Danny Gaskins and Tom Barrett.

She is survived by: her daughters, Mitzi Gaskins of Ernul, NC and Bonnie Barrett of Raleigh, NC; her grandchildren, Denise Lillis (Daren), Michelle Gaskins (Clayton), Hunter Green (Tammy), Jason Green, Megan Barrett-Loeb (Mike) and Mallory Barrett; her great grandchildren, Matthew Lillis, Nathan Green (Jessica), Sarah Bullock (Jared), Madison Gaskins and Levi Loeb; her great great grandchildren, Hailee and Hannah Green; and her sister-in-law Bertha Green Wood. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
