It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mary Cook (New Bern, North Carolina), born in Vanceboro, North Carolina, who passed away on January 5, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Virginia Stewart Mills and Leslie Eugene Mills Sr.; and her daughter Lois Ann Peebles. She is survived by: her children, Virginia Lee (Jack), Johnnie Stewart Hellen and Phillip Eugene Willis (Mary); and her grandchildren, Doug Banks (Charli), Chris Lee, Brad Lee (Kelly), Shaina Elks (Chris), Timothy Creech, Alexis Willis and Phillip Willis Jr.. She is also survived by eleven great grandchildren.
Due to Covid-19 a memorial service will be held at a later date.
