Whittemore; her daughter Elizabeth Brooke McCurdy (Andrew) of St. Petersburg, FL; her sister Sue Kirschner (Pinky) of New Bern, NC; her stepsiblings, Betty Johnson (Curtis) of Suffolk, VA and Jimmy Heath (Mary); her nephew Clay Kirschner (Kelly); and also Rhett of New Bern, NC..

Flowers or memorials may be made in her name to the CarolinaEast Foundation or the National Fibromyalgia & Chronic Pain Association.
