It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mark Joshua McIntyre of New Bern, North Carolina, born in Portsmouth, Virginia, who passed away on February 5, 2024, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Beatrice Carnelius and John Henry McIntyre; his siblings, Milton, David and Annie; and his son Christopher Lamont Buckner-McIntyre.

He is survived by: his wife Kimberly Conley McIntyre; his children, Marcus (Porsha), Alesia, Jerica (Chase) and Jalen (Mackenzie); and his siblings, John, Shirley, Catherine, Timothy, Jeremiah and Eunice. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends.
