She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Manning and Irene Manning; and her siblings, Sidney Manning and Myrt Morris. She is survived by: her spouse Robert Wiggins; her children, Betty Johnson (George) of Brunswick, GA, Susie Lanier (Tim) of Huntsville, AL, Donna Fortin (Dan) of Stella, NC, Sherry Shanahan (Bill) of Rock Hill, SC, George Wiggins (Renee) of Broad Creek, NC and Sonya Morgan of Clayton, NC.; and her siblings, Reba Manning, David Manning, Joyce McCandless and Debbie Heath. She is also survived by her husband became licensed foster parents in 1974 and provided a home for eighty-two precious children, including two special foster daughters.
The family is requesting that in lieu of flowers contributions be made to a GoFundMe account that has been created to help feed the family totaling 140 a catered meal and provide lodging for those traveling in from 10 other states.
