She was predeceased by: her parents, Hugh Brown Harding and Phoebe Lee Harding; her husband Joel Kelly Manning; her siblings, Betsy Jean Lewis, James Harding and Dickie Harding; and her grandson Joel Kelly Manning.

She is survived by: her children, Gloria Mitchell (Keith) of New Bern and Billy Ray Manning of New Bern; her brother Plummer Harding of Chocowinity; her grandchildren, Brandon Lee Mitchell (Katlyn) of Pollocksville, Amanda Mitchell of New Bern and Brooke Geligoff of New Hampshire; and her great grandchildren, Athena, Mattie and Apollo.
