She was predeceased by: her parents, Murphy Spell and Louise Simmons Spell; and her siblings, Wayne Spell and Greta Knowles. She is survived by: her children, Larry Thomas Britt of New Bern and Cathy Britt Mills (Kenny) of Vanceboro; her granddaughter Taylor Anne Mills of Vanceboro; and her siblings, Homer Spell (Ilene) of Clinton, Jimmy Spell (Louise) of Clinton and Vivian Spell Smith of Wallace.
