It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Linda Lee Leslie of New Bern, North Carolina, who passed away on October 21, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her brother Robert Fenner; her parents, John T. Leslie and Mary Nell Lipsey Leslie; her close friend Bill Choyke; her son J. Rodney Brister II; her granddaughter Elizabeth Anne Brister; her daughter Linnie Lee Brister (John Carter) of North Texas; and her sister Doris Leslie (Sallie).

“Linda was the older sister to Sallie Leslie, my dear friend. Linda was always there for Sallie and helped her tremendously while Sallie was dealing with cancer. Linda's birthday was 4 days before Christmas, and she always wanted Blue Bell peppermint ice cream on her birthday. Sallie often had to search far and wide for that flavor as it is only produced over the holiday season. Blue Bell sent out the 1st shipment of peppermint the day before Linda passed this year. Rest in peace, Linda.”
