He is survived by: his wife Bettie Jones Ordiway; and his children, Brian David Ordiway of New Bern, Miles Patrick Brinson of Vanceboro, Kristine Kelly Forrest of New Bern, Stacey Lynn Ipock of Cove City and Karin Joyce Brinson of Jacksonville. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
