She was predeceased by: her husband Edward Forrest; her son John Watts Jr.; her parents, Ranford Wells and Margie Wells; and her sister Lillian Posey.
She is survived by: her friends, Dr. Graham and Mary Barden; her children, Elizabeth Evans of Jacksonville, NC, James Watts (Tammy) of New Bern, NC and Mark Watts (Jenn) of Murrells Inlet, SC; and her sisters, Ruby Norris of Wallace, NC and Lila Cashwell of Wallace, NC. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
