It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lenwood Earl Toler Sr. of New Bern, North Carolina, who passed away on February 10, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his brother David DuVal Toler. He is survived by: his sons, Lynwood Toler Jr. and David Toler (Erin); his grandchildren, Noah Toler, Mason Toler, Michael Woolley (Mia), Christian Shelton and Alexis Toler; his great grandchildren, Walker Woolley, Carter Woolley and Paisley Shelton; and his sisters, Dot Dawson, Faye Smith, Frances Richardson (Robert) and Peggy Vernelson. He is also survived by many loving family members and close friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Cotten Funeral Home (2201 Neuse Blvd, New Bern, NC 28560). A celebration of life was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
