He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Ruth, Dalton Morton, Sr. and Elton D. Reel; and his uncle Luther Dalton Morton, Jr.. He is survived by: his parents, Ruth M. Bland of Pollocksville and William Thomas Bland of Minnesott Beach; his aunt Susan Morton Jenkins (Eddie); his uncles, William "Bill" Donald Morton and Edwin Forrest Morton (Diane); and his grandmother Louise Reel of Greenville.
