He was predeceased by: his parents, William Charles and Elizabeth Ferrell Horner of New Bern; his brother Charles Horner; and his niece Renee Maides Novakowski. He is survived by: his children, Teresa Payne (Robert) of New Bern, Kenneth, Jr. Horner (Kelly) of New Bern, Laura Weber (Thomas) of Valrico, FL and Robert Horner of Vanceboro; his grandson Tyler Horner; his great grandchild Bryleigh Horner; his siblings, Clarence Jerome Horner (Becky) of Suffolk, VA and Lorinda Horner Maides of New Bern; and also, Kristine Thomas, Hayleigh, Brooke Weimer, Kenlee Horner, Drew Weber, Nola Weber and Cole Horner. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
