She was predeceased by: her parents, Elizabeth Davenport and Joseph A. Morris; her husband Thomas Haines Ragland; and her son Ryan Thomas Ragland. She is survived by: her daughter Elizabeth Ragland Murphy; her granddaughter Savannah Elizabeth Murphy of New Bern; and her sisters, Diane Morris Clark of Woodland, NC and Fay Morris Leary of Shawboro, NC. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Centenary United Methodist Church Memorials Committee, P.O. Box 1388, New Bern, NC 28563.
