It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karla Kay Holcombe of New Bern, North Carolina, who passed away on February 20, 2024, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Allen Holcombe; and her parents, Aaron Trott and Marie Trott. She is survived by: her children, Jake Holcombe and Katy Fedchenko (Jeff); her brothers, Mike Trott (Brownie) and Luther Trott (Bonnie); her aunts, Brenda "Boogie" Smith and Gloria Collins; her mother-in-law Nellie Holcombe; and her pet George. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
