It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karen Leslie Silvestri (New Bern, North Carolina), who passed away on May 5, 2021, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her daughter Karen; her husband Mike; her children, Mike Jr., Becky, Danny and Katie; and her siblings, Vicki, Bruce and Carrie. She is also survived by her eight grandchildren.

The family asks in lieu of flowers, donations be sent to the Craven Literacy Council located in New Bern, NC.
