She was predeceased by: her parents, J. W. Welker and Gertie Shelton Welker; her husband George Sheppard; and her brothers, C. B. Welker of Dayton, OH and Bill Welker of Clarksville, TN..
She is survived by: her daughter Sandra Ford Scott (Ed) of New Bern, NC; her grandchildren, Averi Kempf (Michael) of New Bern, NC, Jeffrey Ford (Emilie) of Nashville, TN and Jere Ford of San Diego, CA; her great grandchildren, Sheppard Kempf, Molly Kempf and Juniper Ford; and her sister Nora Ann Thomas (Tommy) of Pine Mountain, GA. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at the Sykes Funeral Home (424 Franklin St, Clarksville, TN 37040). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
