He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Lee Swindell, Sr. and Pearly Mae Avery Swindell. He is survived by: his wife Sally Brown Swindell; his daughter Erin Black Saults (Mark) of Hope Mills; his grandchildren, Emsley, Meera and Patton of Hope Mills; his brothers, Harry Lee Swindell, Jr. of New Bern and Kelly Gray Swindell (Barbara); his nephew Kenneth Swindell (Jennifer); his nieces, Renee, Leah and Marlee; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Wyatt, Gabreal, Autumn and Willow.
