He was predeceased by: his parents, John Pool Overman Sr. and Evelyn Elizabeth Overman. He is survived by: his wife Vanessa Overman; his sisters, Barbara Ward of Myrtle Beach, SC and Cynthia Pellitier of Huntersville, NC; his stepchildren, Nicole Wooten (New Bern), Jason Wells (Greensboro) and Alexis Wells (Greensboro); and his parents-in-law, Thomas H. Wooten and Addie Wooten. He is also survived by three brothers-in-laws; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
