John Hobson Sr. Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Hobson Sr. of New Bern, North Carolina, who passed away on January 1, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John Hobson Sr. to pay them a last tribute.

He is survived by: his wife Georgia "Julia" Hobson; his children, Sylvia Hancock (George) of Trent Woods, John "J. R." Hobson, Jr. (Gina) of Florida and April Rollins (Pete) of New Bern; his brother Leroy Hobson of Raleigh; his grandchildren, John Cannon Rhodes (Mike), Jordan Rhodes Pulido (Corey), Kristin Hardison Overman (Dustin), Kenneth Hardison, Jr. (Makayla), Madison Jean Hobson and Grace Anne Hobson; and his great grandchildren, Miles Ryan Overman, Graylen James Pulido, Palmer Ann Overman and Parker Dianne Hardison. He is also survived by his family and friends.
