It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Dowling Jr. (New Bern, North Carolina), born in Ford City, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 17, 2020, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John J Dowling Sr. and Clara Pearl Dowling. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Pekar Dowling; his daughter Kimberly Hoveland (Chris); his granddaughters, Lydia Hoveland Hymel and Mary Holland Hoveland; his sister Edythe; and his brother-in-law Donald Phelps. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and special friends.
