It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jerry Lee Stapleford (New Bern, North Carolina), who passed away on July 19, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Dixie Small Stapleford of Trent Woods; his children, Terri Stapleford Avent (Randy) of Lakeland, FL and Patrick Scott Stapleford of Trent Woods; his siblings, Ken Sawyer of Newport News, VA and Sylvia Ipock of Moyock, NC; and his grandsons, Austin, Miles and Trent Avent.
