She is survived by: her sons, Doug Harold Wilkinson (Linda) of New Bern and Gregory Wilkinson (Leigh) of New Bern; her brother Joseph Wetherington of Cayton; and her grandson Douglas Wilkinson Jr. of Clayton.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Jeanette's honor to Crystal Coast Hospice House Foundation, 100 Big Rock Weigh, Newport, NC 28570 Arrangements by Cotton Funeral Home and Crematory.
