She was predeceased by: her husband Charles "Chuck" Elson; her sons, Raymond, Tony, Kenny and John Elson; and her siblings, Albert Willett, Billy Willett, Edna Davis and Ann Weems.
She is survived by: her sons, Charles Jr. (Lynn), Michael (Kellie) and Timothy (Sue Elson); and her siblings, Mickey Willis (Peggy), Natalie Johnson and Linda Holland (Larry). She is also survived by great-grandchildren.
