She was predeceased by: her father R. Odell Glancy; her husband Thomas E. Scott; her son Jeffrey Parker Scott; and her sister Linda Glancy Hood. She is survived by: her children, Christopher Scott (Marisa) of Florida and Toni Morris (Keith) of Vanceboro; her grandchildren, Sydney Smith of Texas, Parker Scott (Alejandra) of Florida, Michaela Rice of Vanceboro, Austin Morris of Vanceboro and Kelsie Ferguson (Trey) of New Bern; and her great grandchildren, Paisley, Autumn, Raleigh, Reagan and Charlotte.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to St. Mary's O.F.W.B. Church, P.O. Box 1367, New Bern, NC 28563.
