Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Janet MacLaren in New Bern, North Carolina, who passed away at the age of 81, on February 15, 2024. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joan Redfern and John Redfern. She is survived by: her husband Ian MacLaren; her children, Fiona Adamsky and Andrew MacLaren; her daughter-in-law Maryjo; her grandchildren, Samantha (Zach Hypes), Rozwell MacLaren, Abigail Kirchhofer, Julia MacLaren and Aaron Kirchhofer; and her great grandchildren, Leo and Odin Hypes.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sacred Sound and Space, a fund established to acquire a new church organ which was close to Janet's heart.
