She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Crofton and Selma Crofton of Plymouth, NC. She is survived by: her children, Charles Lee Atkinson, III (Chuck) and Jane Atkinson Peele; her grandchildren, Carlee Peele and William Lee Atkinson; her siblings-in-law, Ruth Waters and Bill Atkinson; and her nieces, RuthAnn Pinkman (John), Beth Foley (Mike), Cristi Moore (Joe) and CeCe Smithwick (Rudy). She is also survived by many great nieces, nephews and cousins.
