We are sad to announce that on April 11, 2025, at the age of 88, James S. Cottle Jr. of New Bern, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Elda Carol Gardner of Kinston, NC; his children, Dennis Cottle (Elizabeth Cottle) of Cary and June Blasey; his granddaughter Taylor Blasey of Louisville, KY; and his nephew William Cottle of Coconut Creek, Florida..
A reception was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cotten Funeral Home (2201 Neuse Blvd, New Bern, NC 28560).
