We are sad to announce that on September 24, 2023, at the age of 52, James Allen Rothwell Sr. of New Bern, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father David Rothwell of New Hampshire; his sisters, Kerry Rothwell and Kristy Rothwell; and his grandmother Ivey Jane Smith. He is survived by: his mother Sallie Peeler of Granite Quarry, NC; his children, Sarah Nicole Willis (Zachary Willis) and James Allen Rothwell, II (Katie Rothwell); his stepson Jon Wayne (Rianna Hedden); his close friend Melissa Hedden; his brother David Ray Rothwell; his grandchildren, Rylen, Daxton, Nolan, Willis, Julihan (JJ), Mylah Rothwell and Anya; and also Sassy.
