He was predeceased by: his father David Rothwell of New Hampshire; his sisters, Kerry Rothwell and Kristy Rothwell; and his grandmother Ivey Jane Smith. He is survived by: his mother Sallie Peeler of Granite Quarry, NC; his children, Sarah Nicole Willis (Zachary Willis) and James Allen Rothwell, II (Katie Rothwell); his stepson Jon Wayne (Rianna Hedden); his close friend Melissa Hedden; his brother David Ray Rothwell; his grandchildren, Rylen, Daxton, Nolan, Willis, Julihan (JJ), Mylah Rothwell and Anya; and also Sassy.
