With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jacqueline Louisa Barney of New Bern, North Carolina, born in Indianapolis, Indiana, who passed away on May 11, 2023 at the age of 87. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jacqueline Louisa Barney to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her mother Emma Louisa Mount; her husband Joseph Nicholson Barney III; and her son Joseph Nicholson Barney IV (Michele Barney) of Medina, OH. She is survived by: her daughters, Julie Ruble (Gary Alspaugh) of Indianapolis, IN, Jennie Mangun (Ken Morgan) of New Bern and Charlotte Rowley (Mike Rowley) of Chapin, SC; her grandchildren, Heather Lambert, Jeffrey Mattes, Joshua Mattes, William Rather, Eva Sharp, Joe Mangun and Andrew Barney; her great grandchildren, Khrysteen Edwards and Kyla Rather; and her great great grandchild Penelope Sunday. She is also survived by many other family members and friends.
