He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorland Midgett and Betty Midgett; and his sister Melba Tillett. He is survived by: his wife Anna Midgett; and his children, Midgett Jr. (Bertie), Carmen M. Hardy (Walter) and Dale Midgett. He is also survived by six grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and one great, great-grandchild.
