He was predeceased by: his wife Johanne Graham Biggerstaff; his sons, Robert Lewis Biggerstaff and Charles Marshall Biggerstaff; his parents, Homer Biggerstaff and Mary Biggerstaff; and his siblings, Mary Elizabeth Biggerstaff, Ruth B. Berman and John Adkin Biggerstaff.

He is survived by: his children, Mary Biggerstaff, June Brinson (Alan), Julia Madeira (Andy), Morgan Biggerstaff (Kimberly) and Susan Biggerstaff; and his grandchildren, Joseph Biggerstaff and Frances Madeira.

Lewis was an Eagle Scout and the family requests charitable donations be made to Boy Scouts of America or a favorite charity.
