It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Henry Fields Sr. (New Bern, North Carolina), who passed away on March 15, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his children, James Fields, Betty Fields of New Bern, Michelle Midgette of New Bern, Clementine Fields of Durham, Christine Fields of Durham, Gloria Cynette Kelly and Minister Wanda Packe Hood of New Bern; and also Henry Fields, Jr.. He is also survived by thirty-seven grandchildren; sixty-nine great-grandchildren;six great-great-grandchildren.

Due to the Coronavirus the Family will have a graveside service at 12:00, Friday, March 20, 2020 at Evergreen Cemetery.
