He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Jefferson Davis and Alma Mae Wilson Davis; his wife Letha Mae Heath Davis; his siblings, Raymond, Jason, Jamie Davis and Neppie Mae Jones; and his daughter-in-law Carol Holzworth Davis.

He is survived by: his children, Gary Davis (Melanie), Mike Davis (Joan Webber), Pam Davis Thomas (Mike) and Carla Davis Ipock (Robert); his grandchildren, Teri Davis Gaskins (Johnathon), Gina Davis Armstrong (Nick), Jonathan Davis (Kristy), Alicia Davis (Marcus Wassmer), Bryan Wetherington (Deseree) and Brooke Giblin Pruitt (Steve); his great grandchildren, Ethan Gaskins, Ellie Rae, Alex Davis, Trey, Mikailah and Ryder Wetherington; his sisters, Nyoka Grimes (John) and Betty Rouse; and his siblings-in-law, Donald Heath (Vicki), Alice Bullard, Hallie Mae Heath, Eloise Davis and Grace Davis. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
