It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harvey Dixon Hardison Jr. of New Bern, North Carolina, who passed away on June 15, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Dixon Hardison, Sr. and Alma Swindell Hardison; his son Kenny Hardison, Sr.; and his brother Tom Hardison. He is survived by: his wife Judith Keith Hardison; his children, Hollie Stump (Jeff) of Charlotte, Harvey "Jeff" Hardison, III (Elaine) of New Bern and April Lee Perdue (Garrett) of New Bern; his grandchildren, Cami Clarke (Wright), Kristin Overman (Dustin), Jeffrey Stump (Jennifer), Ashley Weeks (Jonathan), Kenny Hardison, Jr. (Makayla), Madison Hardison, Millie "Uno" Perdue, Haddie Perdue and Anna Lou Perdue; his great grandchildren, Miles, Palmer, Hayes, Parker, Brooks and Harvey; and his close friends, Mike Hardison and Johnny Stevenson.
