It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harriette Bobbitt (New Bern, North Carolina), who passed away on October 6, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her children, Dr. William H. Bobbitt, III of New Bern, Edward D. Bobbitt of Raleigh, John D. Bobbitt of New Bern and Elizabeth Bobbitt Whedon of Corning, NY; and her sister Patricia Riley Haire of Henderson, NC. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
