He was predeceased by: his former wife Martha "Dollie" Simpson Humphrey; his parents, Jay Lee and Rose Pittman Humphrey; and his siblings, Doris H. McCombsand Helen H., Ferguson, Jay Lee, Jr., Harold "Bump", Donald, Bill and Jimmy Humphrey.
He is survived by: his wife Opal Lee Humphrey; his sons, Hal F. Humphrey, Jr. and Stephen J. Humphrey (Johnette); his grandchildren, Lynn Cauley (Allen), Sarah Mayo (Perry) and Stephen J. Humphrey, Jr. (Malia); and his great grandchildren, Chelsea Fulcher (Adam), Camry Cauley (Jesse Gardner), Chandlor Cauley, Colten Cauley, Alana Mayo, Bee Humphrey and Teddy Humphrey.
