It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gregory Tomas of New Bern, North Carolina, born in Sault Sainte Marie, Ontario, who passed away on August 17, 2022, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Tomas and Anita Tomas; his parents-in-law, Irma and Steve Stevenson; his nephew Steven Keech; and his grandson Joshua Pace.
He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, Kevin Tomas and Jennifer Tomas; his granddaughter Layla Tomas; his siblings, Brian Tomas and Pauline Tomas; and his siblings-in-law, Juanita Tomson, Diann Bellisimo, Stephanie Tomlinson and Michael Stevenson. He is also survived by many loving cousins, family members and lifelong friends.
Memorial donations made to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
