He is survived by: his parents, James Louis Clark and Vickie Kay Harper; his close friend Kelly Clark; his son Dr. Alexander G. Clark (Brittany); his grandmother Pauline Harper; his sister Diana Clark; his stepdaughters, Emily and Kaitlyn Moore; his grandchildren, Andrew and Abigail Clark; and his pet Merlin.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Tryon Palace Foundation.
