He was predeceased by: his parents, William Brown and Claudia Brown; his wife Pat Stokes Brown of Pine Tops; and his siblings, William Brown, Dorothy Mueller and Donald Brown.

He is survived by: his children, Graham W. Brown, Jr. (Darlene) and Patricia Denton (Jeff); his grandchildren, Cathy Brown Hardison (Andy), Mary Britt Brown, Graham Brown, III (Sanja), Brianna Moore, Chaz Denton and Sera Brown; his great grandchild Graham W. Brown, IV; and his sister Claudia Roach.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the VFW Post 2514 Charter in New Bern.
