She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond E. Griffith and Stella U. Griffith; her son Jay Karl Stapf (Charles W. Stapf); her siblings, Elwood Griffith, Joseph Vickers and June Hopkins; and her great grandchild Brody D. Kupcak.
She is survived by: her husband Charles W. Stapf (Buck); her children, Charles M. Stapf (Liz) of Annapolis, MD, Suzanne M. Blais of New Bern, NC and Mary C. Bowmaster (Bill) of New Bern, NC; her sister Genevieve White (James) of Gibson Island, MD; and her grandchildren, Jessica Colburn (Eric) of Fort Mill, SC, William R. Bowmaster, Jr. (Sarah) of Clear Brook, VA, Stephen A. Bowmaster of Newport News, VA and Kimberly R. Kupcak of New Bern, NC. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and special friends.
