We are sad to announce that on October 25, 2021, at the age of 86, Gertrude Lewis Tripp of New Bern, North Carolina passed away. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jessie Lewis and Esther Lewis of Vanceboro; and her brothers, Otis (Buck) and Archie Lewis. She is survived by: her husband John Tripp; and her sister Hazel Lewis Mills of Greenville, NC. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.

Due to Covid the family asks that everyone wears a mask and to please social distance.
