He is survived by: his wife Betty Rees; his children, Gerald James Rees, Jr., Elizabeth Rees Taylor (Jeffrey), Martha Rees Willard (Tim) and Mary Louise Rees; his sister Mary "Mitzi" Ellen Polley; his grandchildren, Michael "Tyler" Lee (Olivia), Faryn Lee Eubanks (Dustin), Forrest B. Finch (Christiana), Griffin D. Finch, Hanna Spears (Riley), Samuel Willard and Chelsea Taylor; and his great grandchildren, Logan Rhys Finch, Leslie Henson, Lillian Spears, Maverick Spears, Lennox Spears and Connor Taylor. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and close friends.
