He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Smigelsky Slepesky and John Slepesky; his wife Lyla Pardoe Sander; and his siblings, Michael Slepesky, Marie Slepesky Bonamici, Mary Benedetto, Betty Slepesky Kowalczyk, Anna Slepesky Cavallo, Susan Slepesky Gaines and Julie Slepesky Kerest.
He is survived by: his children, Lynn F. Cummins, Lisa J. Stearns (Brad), Gary E. Sander (Jean), Scott L. Sander (Dorothy) and John D. Sander (Patti); and his sister Dorothy Kavanah (Frank). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and extended family.
