He is survived by: his wife Virginia Ballard; his children, Travis Murphy (Lynn), Angie Murphy (Russ) and Beverly Murphy (Steve); his grandchildren, Dusty Murphy, Dalton Murphy (Kelsey), Taylor Wells, Sarah Wells, Bradley Pickett and Amber Murphy; his brother Chris Ballard (Coleen); his niece Natalie Ballard; and his nephew Alex Ballard. He is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren, many loving family members and close friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Music Ministry or Building Fund of Tabernacle Baptist Church.
